While AB Training continues to offer the FSC Lead Auditor and ISO 19011 courses, new schemes come on board: the Roundtable on Responsible Soy (RTRS) and the Roundtable on Sustainable Biofuels (RSB).
During the last few months, AB Training has either conducted independently, or has been involved in various auditor courses. In addition to the FSC Lead Auditor courses which have become our routine over the last 5 years, we held several ISO 19011 courses for FSC auditors, helping them to comply with updated FSC accreditation requirements relating to auditor qualification.
AB Training started to offer also courses to the standards of the Roundtable on Responsible Soy (RTRS) and the Roundtable on Sustainable Biofuels (RSB). The first RTRS auditor courses (production standard) were held in Buenos Aires at the end of 2010 and beginning of 2011, and the latest one in Bhopal, India, at the end of July 2011, while the first RSB Auditor course with the participation of AB Training was held in Mexico City in May 2011.
Another RSB Auditor course is scheduled for September in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (see our home page). In the meantime, AB Training is working on the development of an RSB online course, which will help us transmit knowledge on this standard via our e-learning platform. This course will become available towards the end of 2011, and it will allow AB Training and RSB to offer auditor courses in the "blended" mode, with the follow-up "face-to-face" courses being shorter and focusing entirely on developing auditing skills on the RSB standards.
