During the last few months, AB Training has been very busy with training FSC auditors on Forest Management, Chain of Custody and on ISO 19011. Additionally, more than 130 Certification Body staff, FSC auditors and certified companies have taken our online course on the correct use of the FSC Trademarks by certificate holders.
Our course schedule during the last few months included many "blended" courses (half "online" and half in a "face-to-face" setting), such as Chain of Custody Lead Auditor courses with TÜV SÜD Czech Republic and Italy, and also with SGS Qualifor, Forest Management Lead Auditor courses with SGS Quallifor, ISO 19011 courses with TÜV SÜD Czech Republic, SCS and Soil Association, and also a new course presented in a face-to-face setting in Buenos Aires, to auditors of a new certification scheme, the Roundtable on Responsible Soy. Similar courses are scheduled for the coming months, which shows that quality of auditing and training work remains at the top of the agenda in the FSC system, and that other systems, currently under development, have chosen to focus on quality of auditor training in an early stage of their evolution.
